Meet the tennis coaches
Jim is a qualified Tennis Australia level 2 Club Professional Coach, with over 10 years tennis coaching experience. He has been head coach at Ngataringa Tennis Club in Auckland, as well as coaching at Nunawading and St. Dominics Tennis Clubs in Melbourne. Jim also spent many years as a teacher in Japan and the UK.
Moving to Bendigo at the beginning of 2014 he started Jim Wid Tennis offering affordable, skilled and most of all FUN coaching to all residents of Bendigo.
Jim has a wealth of experience helping beginners find their feet in the sport with a “tennis in stages” based approach to learning. If you’re just starting out or a seasoned tennis veteran who needs a few minor adjustments to your game, make sure you give Jim a call.
Aaron is a qualified Tennis Australia Junior Development Coach. He also has a degree in Exercise/Sports Science majoring in Coaching and a Level 1 Personal Training Qualification with Australian Strength and Conditioning Association (ASCA).
As a competitive sports player for nearly 40 years, Aaron has a deep understanding of the mental and physical requirements for sport success.
Aaron shares his personal training knowledge during sessions at The Human Mechanics, a specialist gymnasium dedicated to the sport-focused strength training of athletes of all levels and his enthusiasm for coaching can be heard for miles around!
Bree is a tennis Australia Club professional level 2 coach and personal trainer. As the highest qualified female tennis coach in the Loddon Campaspe region we are very lucky to have Bree coaching here at Jim Wid Tennis and specialises in growing participation in the sport among girls.
With her experience coaching high level juniors in Melbourne her keen technical eye is a great addition to the team and for aspiring local tennis athletes.
Kealy is our newest team member, and is a terrific player, coach, and all-round cool dude.
